David J. Castro Sr.

1959 - 2019 Obituary Condolences
David Joseph "Dave" Castro Sr., 59, Washington, entered into rest Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019.

Dave was born Tuesday, May 19, 1959, in St. Louis to the late Joseph Anthony and Adrian Izola, nee Gant, Castro. Dave worked as a mechanic most of his life and enjoyed his last job as maintenance supervisor for the city of Washington. He had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, riding for charity events and with the Patriot Guard for fellow military veterans. Dave was a member of the Bourbeuse Valley Motorcycle Chapter and served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. Dave loved spending time with his family, especially his eight grandchildren. They always put a smile on his face. Dave will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Dave was the beloved husband of Terry Ann Castro, nee Gosney; loving father of Eric Castro, Washington, Sarah (Ryan) Crump, Cedar Hill, and David "D.J." Castro Jr., Washington; dear brother of Tom (Donna) Vintson, Steven (Cira) Allen, Kathy (Kevin) Rowoldt and Phillip Stroisch; proud grandfather of Caisie (Josh) Brightwell, Connor Castro, Tyler Castro, Gracie Crump, Trevor Castro, Tanner Castro, Kaylee Crump and Nova Crump; and great-grandfather of Karson Brightwell; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations toward funeral services are appreciated.

Visitation was scheduled for Friday, Jan. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m., with services at 7 p.m. at Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Road, Fenton, MO 63026.

Arrangements are in care of Fieser Funeral Home, Fenton.
