David "Pops" Randall Moore, 87, Warrenton, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at Warrenton Manor, Wright City.|
David was born April 14, 1925, to Daisy Bell Moore in Wauwautosa, Wis. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was united in marriage to Anne Corinne Pitt March 2, 1985, in LaMarque, Texas. They celebrated 29 years of marriage.
David was a deliveryman for Flowers Bread Company in Texas until he retired. During his retirement, he kept himself busy by working in security for Innsbrook Estates, Wright City, Spudmasters and Fastlane, both in Warrenton. David enjoyed his time spent with family camping, fishing and playing cribbage. He loved the time he spent traveling with Tim.
David is survived by his wife, Anne Moore, Warrenton; one daughter, Cheryl Kasper (Jerry), Hitchcock, Texas; four stepchildren, Cindy Kettle (Ronnie), League City, Texas, Vickie Garza (Albert), Baytown, Texas, Johnny Williams and Nancy Butler (Tim), all of Warrenton; three grandchildren, Terry Mills (Crystal), Baytown, Texas, Tiffany Mills and Tyler Mills, both of Tyler, Texas; 10 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; many relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and one grandson, Jeffrey Kettle, killed in action.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
