Dianna K. Jackson Fisher Obituary
Dianna Kay Jackson Fisher, nee Kelley, 73, Robertsville, departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, in St. Clair.

Dianna was born July 25, 1945, in Granite City, Ill., the daughter of George Kelley and wife Veronica, nee Ponsot. In February 1964, she was united in marriage to Gerald Jackson, and two children came to bless this union. In November 1977, she was united in marriage to Ronald Norman Fisher, and they were blessed to have 41 years together.

Dianna was a Christian, having been raised in the Catholic faith. During her working years, she was employed at Von Weise Gear in St. Clair, and in later years, she worked at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, as a patient account advocate. Dianna loved to fish and especially enjoyed going deep sea fishing. In her younger years, she also liked to go hunting. Traveling and going on cruises was a favorite hobby. She was an outdoors person at heart and a past member of the Indian Creek Gun Club, where she enjoyed target shooting. In more recent years, she enjoyed reading, playing cards with her friends and playing games on her phone. Dianna was happiest when she was spending time with her children and grandchildren, and many wonderful memories have been created.

Dianna is survived by her husband, Ronald Fisher, Robertsville; one son, Louis Jackson and wife Tammy, St. Charles; one daughter, Helen Jackson and husband Alan Wanninger, Lonedell; two stepchildren, Stacey Lanagan and husband Chris, Ankeny, Iowa, and Jayson Fisher, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one grandson, Sebastian Wanninger, Lonedell; three step-grandchildren, Brandon Lanagan and girlfriend Jenson, Ankeny, Iowa, Jake Lanagan and partner Nathan, Tiffon, Iowa, and Joshua Jeffers, St. Charles; one brother, Brian Kelley and wife Debbie, Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Susan Lee and husband Peter, Valdosta, Ga., and Donna McIntosh and husband Rich, St. Petersburg, Fla.; her former husband, Gerald Jackson, Bridgeton; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Veronica Kelley, and two sisters, Janet Williams and Judy Wasson.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with funeral services at 8:15 p.m., with the Rev. Bob Knight officiating.

Private committal will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be given to a charity of donor's choice.
