Dinah J. Marta Obituary
Dinah Jill Marta, nee Kloppe, 45, Wildwood, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, after a year and a half battle with cancer.

Dinah was born June 21, 1972, to Larry Kloppe and wife Lana, nee Nicholas, in St. Louis. She grew up on the family farm in New Haven, and was baptized and confirmed nearby at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Dinah was very active in 4-H and FFA with livestock, and she enjoyed showing at the local fairs. She was voted FFA president at Washington High School her senior year. She graduated from Mizzou with a BA in computer science, and her career as a network engineer brought her to Mastercard Services in St. Louis, where she worked until her illness worsened. She was an avid Cardinals baseball, country music and Washington Town and Country Fair fan, and especially enjoyed going to games and attending concerts with her family and friends. Dinah's faith community at The Crossing at Chesterfield brought her closer to God and brought her tremendous comfort. Her most precious accomplishment, joy and devotion were reserved for her two daughters. The memories created of days outdoors at the park, vacations to the beach, and snuggling with the girls on the couch will always be with us, and on bad days, those thoughts brought Dinah peace.

Dinah is survived by her two wonderful daughters, Simone and Savannah, and their father, Fabian Marta, St. Louis; her parents, Larry and Lana Kloppe, Washington; three siblings, Polly Kloppe-Limberopoulos, Hermann, Chad Kloppe and wife Rachelle, Des Moines, Iowa, and Sally Kloppe, Wildwood; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, John Limberopoulos.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Washington.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are appreciated to an education fund for Simone and Savannah. Please make checks payable to Sally Kloppe.

Arrangements are in care of Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
