Dolly June Dothage, nee Wiss, 86, Warrenton, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.|
She was born June 20, 1927, in High Hill, the daughter of Louis Wiss and wife Fannie, nee Bolton.
Dolly was united in marriage to Elger Dothage June 22, 1946, in Warrenton. He preceded her in death Oct. 15, 1996. They were married 50 years.
She attended Pendleton United Methodist Church, Pendleton.
Dolly is survived by three sons, Terry Dothage and wife Melissa, Warrenton, Gary Dothage and wife Billie, Pendleton, and Bruce Dothage and wife Jeanne, Marthasville; six grandchildren, Jason Dothage, Jamie Keys, Joshua Dothage, Jarrod Dothage, Joseph Dothage and Jeffrey Dothage; three step-grandchildren, Justin Dean, Elizabeth Wilson and Joli Beauchamp; three brothers, Don Wiss and wife Geneva, Hawk Point, Louis Neal Wiss and wife Janet, Laddonia, and David Wiss and wife Myrna, Warrenton; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elger Dothage; parents, Louis and Fannie Wiss; three brothers, Leslie, Carol, and Calvin Wiss; one infant sister, Kathleen Wiss; and one grandson, Clinton Taylor "CT" Dothage.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial was in Warrenton City Cemetery.
