Earl C. Malloy, 71, Warrenton, passed away suddenly Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at his home in Warrenton. |
Earl was born March 27, 1942, in St. Louis. He married his true love, Ellen Marie Deadmond, Feb. 29, 1995. They celebrated 18 years of marriage.
Earl worked as a farmer at Amana Farms in Iowa and also at MEMC in O'Fallon for many years.
He was an avid movie collector and watcher. Earl collected classic albums, enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his hands. He was an investigator for MUFON. Earl also enjoyed being a Cub Scout leader for inner city youth.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Malloy; four children, Tina Costello and husband Jeff, Tyro Schkerke, all of St. Louis, Chris Schkerke and wife Lisa, Florida state, and Brian Schkerke and wife Lisa, St. Charles; three children from a previous marriage, Sandy, Linda and Kelly, all of Branson; two brothers, Richard Malloy, Branson, and Benjamin Malloy and wife Karen, Troy; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many other relatives and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
A memorial service followed at noon at the funeral home.
