Claude Francis Aubuchon, 76, Warrenton, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at Warrenton Manor.|
He was born Dec. 15, 1936, in St. Louis, the son of Francis Aubuchon and wife Sarah Maybelle, nee Williams. Claude was united in marriage in 1957 to Gertrude "Judy" Stumpf.
He was a retired pressman for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, St. Louis. Also, while working for the Post, Claude worked for several years with his dad, at the family radiator repair business. He was a member of the G.C.I.U. Claude enjoyed hunting and working with his hands, tinkering on just about anything. He loved working outside in his garden and yard.
Claude is survived by his four children, Kenneth Aubuchon and wife Janet, Lori Robinett and husband Dave, Robert Aubuchon and family, and Michael Aubuchon and wife Kathy; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gertrude Aubuchon; parents, Francis and Sarah Aubuchon; and one brother, John Aubuchon.
A visitation was held Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, at noon at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Lippstadt Cemetery, Warrenton.
