Hazel L. Hart Gilliam, 84, of Lynnville, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, of natural causes at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tenn. |
Hazel was born Aug. 27, 1928, in Maudlin, Ark., the daughter of the late Clarence and Hester Lee Blaylock Case.
She was married to the late Homer E. Hart of Gillespie, Ill., on Feb. 16, 1946, and they resided in Pacific for more than 15 years.
After his passing, Hazel was married to the late Robert Gilliam of Robertsville on Feb. 14, 1993.
She is predeceased by both of her husbands and her son-in-law, Jackie Blake.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Blake, Lynnville, Tenn., and Mary Hart Burton, St. Louis; son-in-law, Barry Burton, St. Louis; two grandchildren, Keith Blake and wife Cristal Blake, and Lani Blake Fralix and husband Gary Fralix; and three great-grandchildren, Zach, Brittany and Walker Blake, all of Lynnville, Tenn.
The family will hold a memorial service Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. at Brush Creek Cemetery, Gray Summit.
A reception will follow from noon to 3:30 p.m. at Hodak's Restaurant, 2100 Gravois, St. Louis.
