Ivan Kaysinger, known as "Kacy," 76, Warrenton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Cedarcrest Manor, Washington. |
He was born May 13, 1937, in Steelville, the son of Doyle Kaysinger and wife Sarah, nee Huitt.
Kacy was a member of the Elks Lodge 2662, American Legion 1000, Jefferson City, Masonic Lodge, Hope Lodge 251 and the Hummingbird Club, both in Washington. He also was a member of Immanuels United Church of Christ, Holstein.
Kacy was united in marriage to Audrey Treuel June 20, 1975. She preceded him in death in April 2010. They celebrated 35 years of marriage.
Kacy served his country from 1954 to 1957 in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a vending company supervisor through Canteen Service Company, Augusta.
Kacy was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Kaysinger; parents, Doyle and Sarah Kaysinger; one brother, Alvin Kaysinger; and one stepson; Ron Hase.
He is survived by his three children, Wayne Kaysinger, Washington, Susan Mundwiller (Mike), House Springs, and Warren Kaysinger (Rhonda), O'Fallon; one stepson, Thomas Hase, Holstein; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial visitation will be held Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Marthasville, with a memorial graveside service following at 1:30 p.m. at Immanuels UCC Cemetery, Holstein.
