Jerry Guerrant, 62, New Haven, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, in Sullivan.|
Mr. Guerrant was born Aug. 2, 1949, in St. Louis, the son of the late Leonard Guerrant and wife Helen, nee Meyer.
He received his education in St. Louis. Mr. Guerrant moved to Leslie in 1972 and worked as a carpenter at Permaneer Corporation, Union, until he became disabled in 1974. He was currently living in New Haven.
Mr. Guerrant is survived by six brothers, Donald Guerrant and wife Gladys, Tigard, Ore., Leonard C. Guerrant and Rahl Guerrant and wife Carol, all of Gerald, Paul H. Guerrant, Jacksonville, Fla., Kenneth C. Guerrant, New Haven, and Dale Guerrant and special friend Julie, Pacific; two sisters, Lorine Wellhausen, De Soto, and Mitzi Stedman, Overland; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen Guerrant; and two brothers, Bobby and Wade Guerrant.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, July 18, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union, with the Rev. Earlwood Towne officiating.
Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Union.
The family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
