Juanita Hewitt Obituary
Juanita Hewitt, nee Potts, 93, Warrenton, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles.

Juanita, a former office manager, was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Whiteside, the daughter of Walter Potts and wife Gertrude. She enjoyed 71 years of marriage to John Hewitt. Juanita was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Warrenton, where she was active in the Dorcas group. Juanita also was a member of the Red Hat ladies in Wentzville and the Eastern Star. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Juanita is survived by her beloved husband, John Hewitt, Warrenton; two sons, Kevin Hewitt and Bruce K. Hewitt, both of Warrenton; two sisters, Willa Marie (George) Weiss, Fort Myers, Fla., and Norma Loesch; granddaughter, Kristin Jackson; grandson, Corey Hewitt; three great-grandchldren, Layne, Jake and Liam; niece, Barbara Sheets, Wentzville; and nephew, Gary Janes, Warrenton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Potts, and mother, Gertrude Potts.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton.

A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Valhalla Cemetery, St. Louis.

Memorials to Friedens UCC, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
