Lillian, daughter of the late Edward Vorderbruegge and wife Louise, was born March 28, 1916, in St. Louis. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert R. Fletcher Sr. for 73 years. She was a devout Christian and attended Eureka Bible Church. She was a Sunday school teacher at Central Baptist Church, Eureka, for many years. Lillian helped her husband at the body shop doing secretarial work.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Fletcher Sr.; parents, Edward and Louise Vorderbruegge; and one daughter-in-law, Linda Fletcher.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Fletcher Jr., Columbia, and Lawrence (Carol) Fletcher, Union; dear grandmother of six; and great-grandmother of 11.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Schrader Funeral Home, Eureka.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the funeral home.
Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
