Lula "Punk" Q. Davis, 82, Warrenton, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at her home.|
Lula was born March 25, 1931, in Judsionia, Ark., the daughter of Wilmer Jones and wife Ethel.
She was a business owner/operator.
Lula is survived by her husband, Clarence Davis Jr., Warrenton; one son, James Davis and wife Jana, Warrenton; two daughters, Sheila Stillwell and husband Ted and Lois Herndon and husband Paul, all of Warrenton; three brothers, Oran Jones, Warrenton, Buddy Jones and Cecil Jones, both of Lepanto, Ark.; six sisters, Evon Harrison, Chenoa, Ill., Heidi Gilbert, Fort Wayne, Ind., Wilma Jean Evans and Martha Sue Evans, both of Wauchula, Fla., Gail Griggs, Lepanto, Ark., and Doris Shipman, Carraway, Ark.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Ethel Jones; five sons, Clarence David Davis, Danny Davis, Bobby Lee Davis, Timothy Duane Davis and Baby Boy Davis; one brother, Stanley Jones; and two sisters, Ruth Cockrell and Wanda Weaver.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment was in Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.
