Mary Ballmann Clark, nee Wilson, 77, Washington, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012.|
Mrs. Clark was born April 8, 1935, in Dixon, the daughter of Dorsey Wilson and Nancy Peters, nee Loope.
She was married to her first husband, Lawrence Ballmann Jr., May 18, 1957. He passed away March 7, 1984. She later married Charles Clark Nov. 20, 1994.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a state champion bowler in 1978 and 1980. Mrs. Clark also enjoyed swimming and floating.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Ballmann Jr.; her second husband, Charles Clark; her parents, Dorsey Wilson and Nancy Peters and husband George; her brothers, Earl, Donald, Larry and Jack Wilson; and her sister, Margie Gildersleve.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Steven Ballmann and wife Lisa, Catawissa; two daughters, Nancy Ballmann, Friday Harbor, Wash., and Stacey Seipp and husband Robert, Ballwin; one brother, Jim Wilson and wife Jacque, Washington; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Joshua Seipp, both of Ballwin, and Anthony, Steven Cole, Caitlyn and Madison Ballmann; her sisters-in-law, Audrey Aholt and husband Robert, Augusta, Dolores "Tootsie" Trentmann and husband Delano, Krakow, Helen Hilgedick, Illinois state, and JoAnn Hoelscher and husband David, Washington; one brother-in-law, James Ballmann and wife Anna Rose, O'Fallon; other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held at St. John's-Gildehaus Church, Villa Ridge, Friday, April 20, with Father Jimmy French officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
