Melanie D. Williams Obituary
Melanie Dawn Williams, 57, Warrenton, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, after enduring a brain aneurysm.

Melanie was born Sept. 9, 1960, the youngest daughter of Jim Williams and wife Emma Lee, nee Coleman. She joined one sister, Lynnelle, and one brother, Nelson. Melanie graduated from Warrenton R-III High School. She then went on to graduate from Patricia Stevens College, St. Louis. Melanie lived in Texas for several years before returning to Warrenton to be with family and friends. She was always seeking knowledge and later graduated from Deaconess School of Nursing in Eolia. Melanie enjoyed this profession very much and practiced it until her health began to fail. She had open heart surgery and endured other physical problems that finally took her life.

Melanie was a lifelong member of Warrenton Wesleyan Church. She was a devoted cat lover, enjoyed riding motorcycles and gardening with vegetables and flowers. Melanie nursed and took care of her ailing father until his death. She also was living with and caring for her elderly mother. Melanie is loved and will be missed so much, but her family will meet and greet in her heavenly home again some day.

Melanie is survived by her loving mother, Emma Lee Williams; one son, Jeremy Mincke; two nieces, Lavender Irons and Sarah Hathaway; nephew, Zach Andrews and wife Lindsey; four great-nieces, Shantel, Faith, Rylie and Emma; six great-nephews, Bladen, Noah, Eli, Jackson, Wesley and Noah; one great-great nephew, Kenyon; her loving extended family, the Colemans; aunts; uncles; and many friends. She loved and enjoyed them all.

Melanie was preceded in death by her father, James Williams; brother, Nelson; and sister, Lynnelle.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Warrenton Wesleyan Church.

A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m., also at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the family of Melanie Williams.

The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
