Noel Edward Baugh, 68, Villa Ridge, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at his home, following a lengthy illness.|
Noel, son of the late Loy R. Baugh and wife Geneva, was born Dec. 10, 1944, in Poplar Bluff. He was united in marriage to Sandra Owens March 27, 1965, in Rombauer. Noel worked for Tom's Foods, Columbus, Ga., for more than 25 years, first as a route salesman and later as district manager. In later years, he operated his own snack food business, NEBCO Distributing, until his retirement. Noel was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church, Eureka.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Loy R. and Geneva Baugh; one brother, David Baugh; and one sister, Virginia Lee Baugh.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Baugh, Villa Ridge; one daughter, Michelle Baugh, Villa Ridge; one son, Ed Baugh and wife Jenny, Eureka; twin grandaughters, Madeline and Isabelle Baugh, Eureka; two brothers, Loy Baugh and wife Amelia, Hot Springs, Ark., and Leonard Baugh, Doniphan.
Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Schrader Funeral Home, Eureka.
A Celebration of Life followed the visitation, beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Duane Larson, pastor of Eureka United Methodist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at General Baptist Church, 119 Erb St., Rombauer, Mo.
A funeral service will follow the visitation, beginning at 2 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Jim Schremp, interim Lead of the General Baptist Foreign Mission Board, officiating.
Interment will be at Rombauer Cemetery, Rombauer.
