Patrick F. Kapustka Obituary
Patrick Francis Kapustka, 81, Pacific, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018.

Patrick was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Lilly, Pa., to Joseph Kapustka and wife Elizabeth, nee Bradley. He was married to Marlene Hall Dec. 22, 1958, in Evansville, Ind.

Patrick served his country and retired from the U.S. Army. He proudly served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966 and 1968 to 1969. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, seven Campaign Stars, Army Commendation Medal, four Good Conduct Medals, four Overseas Bars, Drill Sergeant Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge and Master Parachutist Badge. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. for over 20 years. He also was employed by and retired from the U.S. Postal service. Patrick was very proud of and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Patrick is survived by two sons, Guy Kapustka and wife Lesa, King George, Va., and Joe Kapustka and wife Heather, Villa Ridge. Patrick is also survived by eight grandchildren, Guy Michael Kapustka and wife Rebecca, Jordyn Kapustka, Allen Tindall and wife Paige, Mandy Longgrear and husband Joel, Patrick Tindall, Mycala Kapustka, Ian Kapustka and Evan Kapustka; and nine great-grandchildren, Lesa C. Kapustka, Avery Lott, Guy Michael Kapustka III, Joel Longgrear, Benjamin Longgrear, Brayden Longgrear, Joshua Longgrear, Bailey Longgrear and Mildred Tindall.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; one daughter, Patricia Tindall; his parents; seven brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Vincent, Philip, Edward, Michael and John Kapustka; and one sister, Mary Crum.

Visitation for Patrick was held Tuesday, May 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment, with full military honors, was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Pacific.

Arrangements were in care of Bell Funeral Home, Pacific.
