Robert A. Lape Obituary
Robert Allen Lape, 45, Sullivan, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 12, 2014, at his home.

Robert was born Aug. 30, 1968, in St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Army in the Gulf War.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberley Lape, nee Meyer, of the family home; two sons, Benjamin Lape, Sullivan, and Jeremy Triplett and wife Tina, Marthasville; two daughters, Ashley Lape, Bourbon, and Nichole Brower and husband Curtis, Union; parents, Alvie Lape and stepmother Lena, Union; parents-in-law, Bonnie Grant and husband Ronald, Ballwin; one brother, William Lape, Beaufort; two sisters, Cindy Brown, Beaufort, and Cheri Maune and husband Andy, Washington; two sisters-in-law, Becky Wildt and husband Jeff, Leslie, and Ruth Meyer, Arkansas state; seven grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vida Jean Lape.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel Wednesday, July 16, at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.

Memorials may be given to the Benjamin and Ashley Lape children's fund, in care of Kimberly Lape.

The Lape family is being served by Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan.
