Ronald Haddox Obituary
Ronald Haddox, 89, Washington, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Mercy St. Louis, Creve Coeur.

Ron, son of the late Fred Haddox and wife Dora, nee Renfro, was born Oct. 25, 1928, in St. Clair. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Nolte Sept. 11, 1948, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington. Ron was a dedicated family man and cherished the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed sports and was involved in coaching for many years, as well as being active in the Washington High School Athletic Association. He was employed by Union Electric for 41 years.

Ron is survived by his wife, Dorothy Haddox; three children, Gary Haddox and wife Holly, St. Charles, Darryl Haddox and wife Sally, Washington, and Carla Calvin and husband Tim, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings, Montie Haddox, Laney Haddox, Jack Haddox and Laura Helling.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington.

A funeral service will be held at the church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran School.
