Rosemary Miller, nee Moore, 79, Marthasville, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 5, 2014, in Marthasville.|
She was born July 14, 1934, in Van Buren, daughter to Luke Moore and wife Stella, nee Jackson. Rosemary was united in marriage to Kenneth Miller Jan. 20, 1957, and lived in the Alton/Godfrey, Ill., area for many years. It was there that she worked as a real estate agent. Rosemary owned her own appraisal company in St. Louis for many years before her retirement.
Rosemary and Kenneth moved to Marthasville 13 years ago and learned to love the area as well as the many friends and neighbors they came to know. Rosemary's larger than life presence filled a room with her humor and laughter. She will be dearly missed; we are thankful for the many years we were blessed to have her in our lives.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of Kenneth Miller for 57 years and mother of Thomas Miller, Fort Myers, Fla., and David Miller, Marthasville. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Stella Moore; three brothers, Allen, Dale and Michael Moore; and four sisters, Hazel Klasen, Mabel Secrease, Dormalee Diede and Ann Larson.
Visitation and viewing were held Wednesday, July 9, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington.
Interment was private.
