Ruth Mae Riley, nee Schulze, 83, New Haven, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, at New Haven Care Center.

Ruth, daughter of the late Rudolph Schulze and wife Olivia, nee Siedhoff, was born Oct. 6, 1934, in Washington. She was the widow of John Riley. They were united in marriage Nov. 24, 1956, in Washington. John preceded her in death April 2, 1988.

She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Berger. She worked as an imprint operator for Hazel Inc., of Washington. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to auctions and playing bingo.

Ruth is survived by a son, Mark Riley and wife Diane, Villa Ridge, a daughter, Sandy Nyhart and husband Buzz, Twin Bridges, Mont., a son, James Riley and wife Dianna, Winston, Ore., a daughter, Sheila Meyer and husband Brad, Berger, and a daughter, Janet Lowry and husband Ray, Washington; three brothers, Rudy Schulze and Ken Schulze, both of Washington, and Jim Schulze, Stoutsville; one sister, Marilyn Lanwermeyer, Washington; one sister-in-law, Ruth Lottmann, Washington; six grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one brother, Joseph Schulze.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, with the Rev. John Deken officiating.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the New Haven Senior Center or St. Paul's Church, in care of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
