Samuel David "Davy" Ferguson, 37, Warrenton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.

Samuel was born July 21, 1976, in Beardstown, Ill., to David Ferguson and Pauline, nee Butler, Naughton.
He was an assembler on the line at SAF-Holland, Warrenton, for many years. Samuel was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and woodworking. He also enjoyed fishing, playing video games and collecting dragons. Samuel was very fond of playing Santa at all the Butler family Christmas parties, and was a member of the Local 9.
He was united in marriage to Dorothy Blasko June 23, 2006, in Bigspring. They celebrated seven years of happiness together.
Samuel was preceded in death by his father, David Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ferguson, Warrenton; mother, Pauline Naughton and significant other Bill Prior, High Hill; one sister, Christina Brundage and husband Tom, Montgomery City; two nephews, Peyton and Trenton Clardy; one stepson, Casey Greathouse; one stepdaughter, Heather Rudd; many relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, at the VFW Hall, Warrenton, at 11 a.m.
