Sterling B. Liddell Obituary
Sterling Blake Liddell, 48, Wright City, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at 6:50 p.m. in St. Louis, due to complications from cancer.

Sterling was born June 19, 1970, the son of W. Blake Liddell and Karla J. Hanson Liddell. He married Verlinda Hicks in the Manti Temple March 19, 1994, and together they had eight beautiful children, ranging in age from 3 to 22.

Sterling's education and training were in statistical analysis and agribusiness, and he was currently employed by Rabo-Agrifinance/Rabo Bank as the senior vice president of worldwide grains, dealing in corn and soybeans.

Sterling was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many callings, including a mission in Sacramento, Calif. While living in Utah he served as a Hmong translator for LDS general conferences.

He was unique; he had a gift of love for all people and was loved by all. Sterling effortlessly served as a disciple of Christ, whom he loved. He lived in many places, including Utah, France, England, Iowa and Missouri, always leaving an impact wherever he stood. Sterling traveled the world as an ambassador for Rabo Bank, sharing his knowledge in worldwide grains in China, England, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Holland and many states in the U.S. He always loved being at home, spending precious time with his cherished family. Sterling was a loving father and husband who provided for and protected his family. He earned many awards, certificates and recognition, but the titles he adored most were "Father" and "Husband."

Sterling is survived by his loving wife, Verlinda; eight children, Richard, Daniel, Trala, David, Dallin, Tabetha, Russell and Melody; a brother, Gregory and his wife Jaimi; three sisters, Megan Liddell, Liana Moreland, and Ashley Butler and husband Cody; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, as well as other family members.

Services were held Saturday, July 7, at 11 a.m. with viewing and family visitation from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Warrenton LDS chapel, on Highway 47, Warrenton.

Services also will be held in Price, Utah. Further details are pending.

Burial will be at Wellington Cemetery, Wellington, Utah.

The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
