Steven W. Cameron Obituary
Steven Wayne Cameron, 60, Jonesburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lake Saint Louis.

Steve was born Aug. 6, 1957, in Washington, to Jack Cameron and wife Catherine, nee Koelln. He was married to Donna Marie Ruether July 18, 2009, in Warrenton. Steve loved his trucking job, "turning wrenches," and operating heavy equipment. He enjoyed working on his mud truck, "Slingshot," with friends and attending mud runs or anything involving a loud motor that went fast. Steve had a contagious laugh that could be heard throughout a crowd, a big heart and he lightened the room when he walked into it. He enjoyed going to auctions and finding the best deal, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones while he was there. Steve enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with each of them. No matter where he went, what state he was in, he always knew someone.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Donna; mother, Catherine; four children, Amanda Nickerson and husband Brian, Kimberly Melo and husband Daniel, James Daly and wife Vanessa, and Russell Daly and wife Lauren; 15 grandchildren, Bryant, Jesse, Aaron, Cameron, Matthew, Hayley, Cataleya, Brendan, Kaela, Ashlyn, Bella, Mitchell, Max, Charlie and Connor; one great-grandchild, Cameron; one sister, Karen Collier and husband Dennis; in-laws, Orville Ruether and wife Delores, and Kim Tarlas and husband George; many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Cameron; one uncle, Bob Cameron; and three aunts, Barbara Flake, Evelyn Smith and Bitty Garrett.

Memorial donations are preferred to the or to the family of Steven Cameron, in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
