Teresa Marie Wagoner, 62, lost her battle to ovarian cancer Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in the Florida Keys. She was surrounded by her husband and children.
Teresa was born in Hammond, Ind., Aug. 21, 1951. Teresa grew up in Lafayette, Ind., and married Vernon Wagoner July 2, 1971. The Wagoners moved to Lonedell in 1979. Teresa became a teacher and taught at Lonedell R-14 for many years. She especially enjoyed being the computer lab teacher where she was able to see all the students of the school. Teresa retired in May 2010. Even though she had been fighting ovarian cancer for many years, it did not stop her from constantly learning, enjoying painting, camping, sailing, and being by the blue-green waters of the ocean.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Vernon; son, Eric; and three daughters, Adrienne, Lauryl and Amanda.

You were an awesome girl scout leader and I have so many fond memories. And I always loved running into you at random places..like the polling booth. Your smile was as beautiful as you were.
