Terry R. Black, 62, Berger, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013, in Creve Coeur.|
Mr. Black was born Jan. 31, 1951, in St. Louis, the son of Sherman Boyher and wife Betty, nee Lanquist.
He received his education from Webster Groves High School. On May 17, 1986, Mr. Black was united in marriage to Susan Brown in Creve Coeur.
He was a postal carrier for the U.S. government for 34 years.
Mr. Black was preceded in death by one brother, Tim Black.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Black, Berger; parents, Sherman and Betty Boyher, Ballwin; three sons, Eric Sprayberry, Pacific, Terry Black Jr., Utah state, and Ty Black, St. Louis; two daughters, Kerri Black, Utah state, and Christina Sprayberry, Chicago, Ill.; one brother, Robert Boyher and wife Kimberly, San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 28, at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Earlwood Towne officiating.
Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, Berger.
