Timothy J. Caton Obituary
Timothy J. Caton, 27, Washington, passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, in St. Louis.

Tim was born Aug. 22, 1990, to John Caton and Marlin, nee Coleman, Caton, in Barrington, Ill., and was married to Samantha Thompson Oct. 22, 2017, in St. Louis. He graduated from Washington High School in 2008, the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, and from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in computer science and management technology. He was a dedicated student, hard worker and progressed quickly in his career at TDK Technologies in Chesterfield. Tim was loving and dedicated to his family and a loyal and steadfast friend to everyone he met. A tremendous health, fitness and wellness advocate, he enjoyed cooking healthy meals for his friends and family. He especially enjoyed spending time on the Current River, hiking, camping and navigating the waters with his hound, Althea. Tim had an eye for artistic design and an ear for music, was a talented percussionist, and appreciated a broad spectrum of musical artists.

Tim is survived by his wife, Samantha Caton, Washington; his father, John Caton, Lake Bluff, Ill.; his mother, Marlin Heidmann and husband Matt, Washington; three brothers, Christopher Caton and special friend Marilyn He, Chicago, Ill., Stephen Caton and special friend Molly Dempsey, St. Louis, and Matthew Heidmann, Washington; one grandmother, Claire Caton, Peabody, Mass.; his parents-in-law, Lynn Thompson and Cynthia Vancil, both of Washington; his hound, Althea; cousins; aunts and uncles; other relatives and many great friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Washington.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Interment will be private.
