Zane Heck Viper, 42, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital West.|
He was born April 12, 1971, in St. Louis, the son of Timothy Heck and Mary Hartrum.
Zane was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Deanna Viper, May 16, 1998.
He was employed as a painter. Zane was a member of First Baptist Church, Wentzville. He loved watching cooking shows, playing his PlayStation and working on his home and yard.
Zane is survived by his wife, Deanna Viper, Warrenton; father, Timothy Heck, Wentzville; mother, Mary Hartrum, Wentzville; one son, Joseph Heck, Wentzville; one daughter, Brittany (T.J. Ard) Heck, Warrenton; one brother, Todd Viper, Warrenton; two sisters, Hilary and Colleen Heck, both of Wentzville; two granddaughters, Josephine and Miley Heck; father- and mother-in-law, Mark and Helen Clover; beloved guardian, Annabelle, Gucci and Lexi Viper; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Rich Hartrum.
Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
A funeral service followed at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment was private.
Memorials to the Humane Society of St. Louis, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
