Jane Rabenau Obituary
Jane "Mikki" Rabenau, nee Brinker, 67, Washington, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, in Washington.

Mikki, daughter, of the late Peter Brinker and wife Lavern, nee Huxel, was born Sept. 1, 1946, in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School. Mikki had a love for cooking and working outside in the garden. She also liked to volunteer at the Franklin County Humane Society and working with horses. Mikki was a member of St. Francis Borgia Parish, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and Chapter XI Nu Theta. She was employed by Sporlan Valve, Washington.

Mikki is survived by one son, Tex Rabenau and wife Jenni, Cook Station; two brothers, Jack Brinker and wife Rose, and Jeff Brinker, all of Washington; three grandchildren, Austin Rabenau, Dalton Rabenau and Benjamin Hushaw; other relative and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lavern Brinker.

A memorial Mass was held Monday, June 9, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Wormek officiating.

Memorials were given to honor Mikki with a bench to be placed in one of Washington's parks.

The Rabenau family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
