Nancy Hilgedick Obituary
Nancy Almeda Hilgedick, nee Sutton, 81, Prescott Valley, Ariz., went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy, daughter of the late Louis Sutton and wife Narcie, was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Pleasant Hill, Ill. She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. She was united in marriage to Joe Ballard in 1951. Her three children, Joseph, Ramona and Susan, were born to this marriage. Nancy married Grover Hilgedick Sept. 23, l967, and spent the rest of her earthly life mostly in the Western United States.

She enjoyed her family and friends and always showed a loving care for everyone she met. Nancy made many friends in their numerous work-related moves throughout the West until retiring in Prescott Valley in 2000.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Grover; three children, Joseph Ballard and wife Sara, Spokane, Wash., Ramona Anderson and husband Charles, Challenge, Calif., and Susan Gloeckle and husband Richard, Eldorado Hills, Calif.; one sister, Louise Thrasher, Pittsfield, Ill.; one brother, Hurley Sutton and wife Carole, East Moline, Ill.; many grandchildren; greatgrandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Narcie Sutton; and one brother, Errol Sutton.

Services were to be held at Sunrise Mortuary, Prescott Valley, Ariz. on Tuesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Marthasville Saturday, June 28, at noon.

A memorial service will be held at St Paul's Church at 1 p.m. with refreshments following at the church.
