Anna F. Snodgrass Obituary
Anna Fern Snodgrass, nee Raymer, 75, Pacific, departed this life Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Anna, daughter of the late Carl R. Raymer and wife Lanoria, nee Williams, was born July 28, 1938, in De Soto. She was united in marriage to George William Snodgrass June 26, 1959, and four sons came to bless this union.

Anna was a Christian of the Pentecostal faith, and most recently visited Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Pacific. During her working career, she was employed as a certified nurses aide for Pacific Care Center, Pacific, and Bethesda Nursing Home, Ellisville, where she worked for about 15 years. Anna had a variety of interests throughout her life, including embroidering, crocheting and cooking. She remained an avid reader throughout her life. Her passion was collecting owl memorabilia, and many of these will now be family treasures. Anna also had a great sense of humor. What meant most to Anna was time spent with her family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will live in their hearts forever.

Anna is survived by two sons, Clay Snodgrass and wife Charlynda, Robertsville, and Matt Snodgrass and wife LeAnne, Union; one brother, Gravit Raymer and wife Margaret, England; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, George Snodgrass; two sons, John Snodgrass and an infant son; parents, Carl Raymer and Lanoria Raymer Baker; and infant brother, Ellis Raymer.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Jim Watson officiating.

Interment was in Sunset Cemetery, Pacific.

Memorials may be given to Pacific Presbyterian Church, Pacific.
