Steven R. Ellerbrook Obituary
Steven Ray Ellerbrook, 67, Union, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, in Washington.

Steven, son of the late Philip Ellerbrook and wife Ruth Naomi, nee Christmas, was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Evansville, Ind. Steven received his education at Pacific High School, and graduated in 1964. He went on to receive his associate's degree from Maryville University, St. Louis. He was united in marriage to Marolyn Weddle Dec. 31, 1983, in Gray Summit. The couple made their home in Union. They moved to Michigan in 1998, and then back to Union in 2006. Steven was employed as a technical systems analyst for Chrysler for 42 years, until his retirement in 2009. Steven was a member of Lifestream Church, Washington.

Steven is survived by his wife, Marolyn Ellerbrook, Union; one son, Jonathan Weddle and wife Whitney, Springfield; two daughters, Stephanie Mertzluff and husband Bill, Texas state, and Kimberli Baker and husband Chris, Union; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Tyler, Melanie, Taylor, Ashton, Landon, Greyson and Sawyer Jean; one sister, Ruth Harter and husband Gerald, Indiana state; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Schaves; parents, Philip and Ruth Ellerbrook; and mother- and father-in-law, Marjorie and Gene Kimbrough.

A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lifestream Church, Washington, or Longmeadow Rescue Ranch, Union.
