Marshall R. Baker Obituary
Marshall R. Baker, 71, Villa Ridge, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, in Chesterfield.

Marshall, son of the late Marshall H. Baker and wife Ellajean, nee Storz, was born Feb. 2, 1943, in St. Louis. He attended Ritenour High School, St. John. In 1967, Marshall was united in marriage to Juanitta Jacobs, in St. Charles. They made their home in Overland, and moved to Villa Ridge in 1998. He worked as an electrician for Fremeder Electric for 35 years, and Benson Electric for 10 years. He was a 51-year member of Electrical Workers Union I.B.E.W. Local 1, the Union Moose Lodge, and an associate member of American Legion Post 291, Union.

Marshall is survived by two sons, Robert Baker and wife Gail, Labadie, and Joseph Baker, Union; two grandsons, Robby Baker and Andrew Baker, both of Labadie; one brother, Barry Gene Baker and wife Judy, Bland; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanitta Baker, April 3, 2014; and two siblings, Debra Lynn Galloway and William Baker.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union. Burial was in Howard Cemetery, Bland.

Memorials may be given to Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Union Moose Lodge.
