Julie A. Ponche, nee Nolan, 51, Villa Ridge, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Mercy Hospital Washington.|
She was born May 30, 1961, the daughter of the late Patrick Nolan and wife Lorraine, nee O'Kane, at Evergreen Park, Ill.
Mrs. Ponche received her education and graduated from Parkway West High School, St. Louis County.
She was a caring and loving person with her family and friends and enjoyed entertaining and having a good time. Mrs. Ponche was a member of the Pacific Eagles Auxiliary as well as a homemaker for over 30 years.
On July 28, 1979, she was united in marriage to Daniel Ponche in Chesterfield. This union was blessed with one daughter.
Mrs. Ponche is survived by her husband, Daniel Ponche, Villa Ridge; one daughter, Allison Overmyer and husband Drew, Springfield; one granddaughter, Evelyn Overmyer, Springfield; two brothers, Patrick Nolan, Creve Coeur, and Michael Nolan, Gray Summit; one sister, Suzanne Barnett and husband John, Spokane, Wash.; mother-in-law, M. Gayle Ponche, Panama City, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Ken Ponche and partner Rowen Martinez, Houston, Texas, and Tom Ponche and wife Diane, St. Charles; one sister-in-law, Sandra Beitz and husband Richard, Panama City, Fla.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific, with the Rev. Tara Tetzlaff officiating.
