Leroy K. Riemann Obituary
Leroy K. Riemann, 81, Washington, passed away to join his heavenly Father Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

He was born May 12, 1931, and baptized June 21, 1931. Leroy was united in marriage June 14, 1959, to the love of his life, Carolyn, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington. They were married for nearly 54 years.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Carolyn A. Riemann; three sons, Mark Riemann, Camdenton, Timothy Riemann and wife Angela, Nolensville, Tenn., and Aaron Riemann and wife Chelsey, Knoxville, Tenn.; one daughter, Jane Pratt and husband Robert, Richmond, Va.; seven grandchildren, Jacob and Ben Riemann, Carolyn Pratt, Bella, Brock and Max Riemann, and Abigail Riemann; brother-in-law, John Woelker; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

After graduating from Washington High School, Leroy worked for two years as a clerk for the city of Washington Water Department. He then worked for 42 years at The Miller Press and seven years for Enduro Binders, retiring in 2000.

Leroy was a devoted and active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served as a member and chairman of the finance committee. He also was a member of the adult choir, Merry Mates, Earnest Workers, an elder and an usher. Leroy was a board member of Immanuel Lutheran School and a member of the Parent Teachers' League.

The family extends their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the many loving church family friends at Immanuel, neighbors and kind friends.

A funeral service was held Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School or Church Building Fund, 214 W. Fifth St., Washington, MO 63090.
