Kenneth Reese, 73, Warrenton, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the home of his daughter in Foristell.|
He was born to Louis Reese and wife Rosa, nee Sanker, July 22, 1939, in Warrenton.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Mary Ruth Clark Oct. 13, 1969, in Warrenton.
He was known as the "Tractor/Lawn Mower Guy" to those who knew him. Kenneth was happiest when he had a wrench in his hands, working on any kind of tractor or lawn mower. He loved visiting with anyone who wanted to talk. Kenneth enjoyed talking on his cell- phone. He also loved playing with and being around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by one son, Roger Alvin Clark and wife Janice, Wright City; one daughter, Linda Kay Reese, Foristell; two grandsons, Nathan Clark and fiancee Lisa Douglas, and Nicholas; six great-grandchildren, Hunter Reese Clark, Kristen Douglas, Kelsey Douglas, Steven Jr., Brandon and Brittany Key, with one on the way; three sisters, Levera Dieckman, Warrenton, Goldie Woodside, Alhambra, Ill., and Helen Cullem, Montgomery City; many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ruth, who passed away April 7, 1999; parents, Louis and Rosa Reese; one sister, Gloria; and one nephew, Gary.
Visitation was held Friday, April 19, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Burial followed at Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.
