Ruth Marie Wippler, 84, Troy, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Lincoln County Hospital.|
Ruth was born April 6, 1929, in Florissant, the daughter of Bernard Tipp and wife Sarah.
She was a homemaker. Ruth was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hawk Point, and the Altar Sodality of St. Mary's. She loved to read, sew and crochet.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Raymond Wippler and wife Janet, Troy, and John Wippler, St. Peters; two daughters, Marie Boland and husband Kenneth, Wright City, and Susan Stolle and husband Stephen, Troy; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Wippler; parents, Bernard and Sarah Tipp; one brother, Bernard Tipp; one sister, Nora Rodgers; and great-granddaughter, Krystal Hale.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 21, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 22, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hawk Point.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to Juvenile Diabetes or Masses, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
