1943 - 2013 Obituary Condolences Flowers
Bernie Sohn, 69, St. Clair, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, at his home.

Bernie, son of the late Lester Francis Sohn and wife Edna Juanita, nee Griggs, was born July 4, 1943, in St. Clair. As a young man, he was united in marriage and blessed to have six children. On Sept. 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Helen Linda Reagan, nee Herminghaus, known to all as "Penny." One child came to bless this union, and their families were joined as one.

Bernie was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior. As a young man, he grew up attending Mount Zion Baptist Church, St. Clair. During his working career, he was employed by Clark & Son Well Drilling until 1975. Then he started his own business, Bernie Sohn Excavating, where he worked until his retirement. Bernie had a variety of interests throughout his life, including hunting and fishing. He was also passionate about drag racing cars. What meant most to him though was time spent with his family. His children and grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, as he did in theirs. The love they shared and the many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by all of them.
