Mark Edward Keeley, 40, Gerald, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital Washington, surrounded by family and friends.

Mark was born Nov. 4, 1972. He dedicated his life serving others. He was employed as a firefighter/paramedic with multiple departments throughout his career. The highlight of Mark's career was serving as a flight paramedic for St. Louis Children's Hospital transport team and working as a firefighter. The final gift Mark gave was the gift of sight through his donation to the Lions Eye Bank.
Mark was the loving husband of Rayna Keeley, nee McBride; dear son of Noel (Joyce) Keeley, and Vickie (Dennis Green) Keeley; loving grandson of Vivalene Tucker and the late Bobby Tucker, Myrle and Norma Keeley; beloved son-in-law of Michael McBride and Barbara McBride; dear brother of David (Nichole) Keeley; dear stepbrother of Robert Thompson and James Thompson; loving brother-in-law of Matthew (Melissa) McBride, and James (Ashley) McBride; dear uncle of Sarah Keeley, Wes Keeley, Zach Keeley, Nick McBride, Dylan McBride, Christian McBride and Zech McBride; beloved nephew; cousin; friend and mentor of many.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 8, at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, Ballwin.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory.
Interment was at Carrollton City Cemetery, Carrollton, Ill.
