James "Jim" H. Moore, 66, Warrenton, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab.|
He was born June 6, 1947, in Arnold, the son of the late Eugene Moore and wife Imogene.
Jim was employed as a maintenance worker. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jim enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He loved being with his family and spending time with his daughter.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sandi Moore, Warrenton; one daughter, Shannon Moore, Ironton; three brothers, Ed Moore, Florida state, Jack Moore, Farmington, and John Moore, St. Clair; five sisters, Loretta Parks, Peggy Parks, both of Warrenton, Diane Talbert, O'Fallon, Linda Burnes and Dorothy Baestnus, both of St. Louis; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Thomas Moore; and three sisters, Betty, Margie and Mary Moore.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 13, from noon to 2 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
A funeral service followed at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment was in Warrenton, City Cemetery, Warrenton.
Memorials to the Special Olympics, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
