Hank, son of Rodney Tappe and Eunice Fields, was born Oct. 28, 1996, in Washington. He was a student at Union High School, Union. He enjoyed playing with his dogs and video games. Hank was always one to think of others, and became an organ donor as soon as he received his learner's permit.
Hank is survived by his father, Rodney Tappe, Union; mother, Eunice Fields, New Haven; one brother, John Tappe, Union; two sisters, Jeanne Tappe and Tori Tappe, both of Union; one half sister, Kallista Stubblefield, New Haven; grandmother, Sondra Young, Villa Ridge; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at First Baptist Church, Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.
Burial followed in St. John's Mantels Cemetery, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Union R-XI Foundation Scholarship Fund.
