Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to the family. I was born in Oak Park and raised in RF where my father was police chief for thirty years. She will be in my prayers.

I think this is a one year anniversary. I worked for the Teacher Education Directorate, Ministry of Education, Kabul in 2012. I didn't meet Anne personally, although we worked there at the same time. I couldn't get to Kandahar because of the danger, but reviewed their teacher education data. Anne's efforts, hard work, heart made a valuable difference for Afghans, our country, and humankind. She is the best, she is eternal. She gives me strength for my work.

I worked at the Ministry of Education in Kabul late in 2012, evaluating teacher education programs. Now, I keep her picture near my work desk. I know the needs she met, and the difference she made for Afghans and our country. --Ken Peterson (Tualatin, OR)
