Leroy Leuthold, 83, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away August 15, 2013. He was born September 27, 1929 in Bern, Kansas to Chris and Sophia Leuthold. He graduated from Washington High School in Washington, Illinois.
Lee married Donna Sell on July 5, 1958 in Washington, Illinois. He was employed at Caterpillar, Inc. for 32 years. Upon retiring from Caterpillar in 1981, he and his wife moved to Estes Park, Colorado in 1982. Lee was an Estes Park school bus driver and also worked as a bus driver in Rocky Mountain National Park for 20 years.
Lee attended Allen Park Church for several years and recently embraced the faith of his youth at the Apostolic Christian Church.
Lee is survived by his wife Donna of Fort Collins, Colorado; brothers, Dean (Mary Jane) Leuthold of Tremont, Illinois, Robert Leuthold of Peoria, Illinois; sisters, Eunice Richrath, East Peoria, Illinois, Eula (Paul) Arnett of Morton, Illinois, Shirley (Cliff) Roeschley of Peoria, Illinois and Betty (C.R.) McDonald of Goodfield, Illinois; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Sophia Leuthold and his brother, Virgil Leuthold.
A funeral service on Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, Illinois. Interment will take place at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian World Relief, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526.

Oh, Donna,
What good neighbors you were to us on Hummingbird Lane, and what support Lee was to me the day Jean died. He was truly my angel on that day and I am eternally grateful. You have now joined me on this journey and you will find, as I have, what comfort our memories are.

So many great memories of Uncle Lee being the first adult to throw the Football,Frisbee,or suggest a hike with us kids when we were young. Love to Aunt Donna and all my family dealing with the loss of my truly GREAT UNCLE...
