William David 'Bill" Kearney, 55, passed away, Friday, February 14, 2014, peacefully at his home. Bill was born May 12, 1958, to William John and Marilyn Beth (Cochran) Kearney in Joplin, Missouri. He graduated from high school in Estes Park, Colorado and married Regina Marie Goucher on May 4, 1999, in Wichita, Kansas. Bill worked for Terracon Construction as a materials tester. He enjoyed auctions, antiques and the outdoors including fishing, camping and boating. Bill coached little league baseball and collected baseball and football cards. His survivors include his wife, Regina of the home; sons, David Kearney of Topeka, Kansas, Ted Rankin of Andover, Kansas and Bryan Davis of El Dorado; daughters, Jessica Tripp and her husband, Vern of Andover, and Michelle and Kristi Davis of El Dorado; brothers and their wives, Mike and Laura Kearney of Estes Park, Colorado, and Rick and Carolyn Kearney of Augusta, Kansas; a sister and her husband, Ellen and Scott Akins of Humboldt, Kansas; grandchildren, Annabelle Kearney, Jason and Jordi Rankin, Scott Warden, Coben and Ryann Davis. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Mike Kearney. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. on Thursday February 20, with visitation following from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, February 21, at 1:00 p.m. all in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Private family interment. A memorial has been established with Children's Hospital, Oncology Ward in care of the funeral home.
