Cyril L. Rich, Jr., 82, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away June 21, 2013. He was born January 26, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Cyril and Edith Hanlin Rich.

He attended the University of Texas and Southern Methodist University; and received a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
On February 12, 1955, Cyril married Carol L. Moore in Rochester, Illinois.
Cyril served in the United State Air Force from 1954 to 1956 as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer.
He was employed by Caterpillar, Inc. as an engineer for 34 years, and resided in Fort Collins for 14 years.
Cyril was an accomplished musician and helped organize and played in several Dixie Land bands. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid golfer.
Cyril is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol; son, Carl L. Rich; daughter, Carolyn (Antoun "Tony") Ghantous; sister, Patricia (James) Gideon; grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Ghantous; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.
