Betty Jane (Young) Everitt Obituary
Betty Jane Young Everitt, 91, recently residing in Estes Park, Colorado, died peacefully on October 31, 2014 with her family at her side.

She was born to the late Loretta and Earl Young, September 1, 1923, in Falfurrias, Texas. Betty graduated Valedictorian from Falfurrias High School and received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas where she met her husband of fifty years.

Betty had a curious mind, a quick and captivating smile and was totally devoted to providing a loving and supportive home for her family. She volunteered for many causes including serving for forty years as music secretary at Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church where her husband was the choir director.

Betty is survived by three children: Claudia Irwin, of Estes Park; Betsy Taylor, of Dallas; and Bill and Elaine Everitt of Dallas. She is also survived by three grandchildren: William Ray Everitt and wife Cynthia of Dallas; Sarah Elizabeth Harris and husband Tom of Dallas; and Kearston Grace Everitt and fiancé Tomer Alpert of Telluride; and three great grandchildren; Annabelle Everitt; William Everitt and Morgan Harris.
