William "Bill" Lamm was born August 31 1931, to Eugene and Cecil Lamm in Mankato Minnesota. In 1949, Bill graduated from Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. Bill attended
University of Notre Dame
and Saint Louis University where he earned his bachelor's degree. Upon graduation, Bill enlisted in the Air Force, serving at Grandview Air Force base, Grandview MO, while in the Air force Bill enrolled law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
In 1959, Bill graduated from The Denver University Law School and married Martha Stewart Bullock. They have three children Richard of Denver, CO; David (Lisa) of Walnut Creek, CA; and Amy (Thomas Brownlee) of Centennial, CO; four grandchildren Lauren and John Lamm and Katherine and Matthew Brownlee.
Bill practiced Municipal bond law in Colorado for 40 years and was a principal in the law firm of Lamm, Edstrom and Braymer. Bill authored several publications on the topic of Municipal finance for the Colorado Municipal League.
Following retirement, Bill served as Director and Vice President of the Estes Valley Land Trust and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Capital Asset Finance Corporation.
Bill was an active member of the Estes Park Summer Resident Association and loved spending time in his Estes Park log home. Bill's passions included his family, his faith, his work, hiking, global travel, his mountain land, and sports. Please share condolences at
