Helen S. Raydo, age 96, of Erie, formerly of East 9th Street and Tullio Towers, died Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Fairview Manor. Born on December 31, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Rosalia Oborski. Helen was a graduate of East High School and had worked for Schaal Glass and the Margaret Flood Dress Shop. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Helen would spend her Sundays listening to Polka music, which she dearly loved. She would be tickled when her friend Marilyn would request a song to be played for her. Preceding Helen in death were her husband Andrew Raydo and two brothers, Thaddeus and Michael Oborski. She is survived by her son Robert Raydo and his wife Patricia of Fairview. She also had many friends at Tullio Towers. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street in Girard, on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., also on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in Burton's All Faiths Chapel.
