Catherine (Queen) Nill, widow of the late Jack Nill, Sr., formerly of Erie, Pa., died December 29, 2012 at the age of 93. She is survived by her three children, Nancy Gronostaj, husband Bill (Bartlett, Tenn.), Jack Nill Jr., wife Pam (Gaithersburg, Md.), and Sue Kidera, husband Tom (Rochester, N.Y.) and two sisters, Mary Tollos (Tempe, Ariz.) and Rita Dyer (Indianapolis, Ind.); ten grandchildren, Kristen Zemaitis, Kelly Gossett, Jack Nill III, Katie Hesla, Matt Gronostaj, Mike Gronostaj, Tim Nill, Tommy Kidera, Wesley Seymour, and Kendall Nill; and six great-grandchildren, Mason and Hayden Zemaitis, Chase and Channing Gossett, and Will and Brooke Hesla. Catherine and Jack Nill, Sr. were founding members of St. Jude Parish in Erie, Pa. Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street. Services will be held there on Friday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Church. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
