Dorothy L. Mosier Wagner

Dorothy L. Mosier Wagner, 91, of Girard, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. She was born February 19, 1921 in Knoxville, Tenn., a daughter of the late John and Lucille (Cook) Leidenheimer. She had worked at General Electric in Erie during WWII, the Boston Store, where she made custom draperies, and most recently for the House of Edinboro. She was a member of the Girard Alliance Church, and was a former Sunday School Teacher at the Washington Valley Christian Church. She enjoyed ceramics,vegetable and flower gardening, classical music, and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her first husband Victor E. Mosier; her second husband, Richard K. Wagner in 2005; a brother, Paul Watrous; and a stepson, Thomas Mosier. She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Dottie L. Pfeiffer and her husband Leo of Girard, Barbara R. Hernandez of Fairview, and Mary Crooks and her husband Sam of Chambersburg; two sons, David V. Mosier and his wife Maria Theresa of New York, N.Y., John M. Mosier and his fiance Kathy Zukowski of Erie; a stepson, Gerald Mosier of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Lyle Watrous of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Dawn Filia, Pamela Mihalak, Eric Pfeiffer, Lance Hernandez, Dana Harrison, Greg Crooks, Erica Miller, and Ethan Mosier; 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and her dear friend Gordon Stevens of Lake City. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard. Services will be held there on Monday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Clyde Davis officiating.
